The government of Punjab decided to announce the E Bike Scheme 2024 for college and university students to facilitate their transportation. Almost 20000 electric bikes will be distributed among eligible and bright students. It is a good initiative of CM Maryum and Govt of Punjab to launch a special scheme for students who face transport issues while attending college and university lectures.
The Bank Of Punjab is facilitating the Government of Punjab to present an E-Bike Scheme 2024 and BOP considers it a Soft Loan for both male and female students with low interest rates and easy installments. Now students can receive their own electric bike via easy installment with an affordable interest rate. The installment duration will be 2 years and the markup rate set at about 6 percent.

Eligibility Criteria
Provisional Minister for Planning and Development Bilal Afzal said that the Electric Bike will be distributed among position holders and deserving students of colleges and universities of Punjab through balloting will conducted by the Bank of Punjab. He also mentioned how to approve student’s applications for E-Bike Scheme to ensure its success and efficiency.

Chairmen P&D Board Iftikhar Ali Sahoo said that initially this E-Bike Scheme 2024 for students will be introduced in big cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad. After the success of this Electric Bike Scheme, this program will be extended to small cities in Punjab.
Monthly Installments for BOP E-Bike Scheme 2024
E-bikes and Petrol Motorcycle will be distributed among students through Bank of Punjab The monthly installment for e-bikes will be PKR 10000 and Pertol Bikes will be PKR 5000.
Quota for CM Punjab Electric Bike Scheme
The quota will be equally distributed among male and female students about 50%-50% who are living in Urban areas but in Rural areas, the male students will get 70% e-bikes and 30% electric bikes and petrol bikes among female students.
How To Apply for E-Bike Scheme 2024
Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Bilal Afzal said that this scheme will be introduced in May 2024 after the approval of Govt of Punjab.
Online applications of students will be accepted through an online portal and after successful students will get 20000 E-Bikes at the lowest interest rate from the Bank of Punjab.
If you are interested, you are advised to visit the National Bank of Punjab for 0 markup and interest-free Electric bikes, Motorcycles, and Rikshaws for students and women from all over the Punjab province.
The CM Punjab Maryum Nawaz Electric bike scheme will start in May 2024 and bikes will be delivered in the same month.
